Just got this in my promo inbox from seven inches. It actually would be worth it if they hold a place in line for you or just have your picks waiting there when you arrive! I can't decide if this is ridiculous or genius.
Who's coming to NY? I have a nice couch.....

“This year’s Record Store Crawl, the inaugural event for NYC and Record Store Day, encapsulates everything there is to love about RSD,” said Billy Fields, Vice President, Sales, WEA. “It’s a roving, rolling party celebrating friends, records, NYC and independent music retail. This raft of ‘rawkus and rollus’ delivers all the best attributes of RSD without any of the headaches of traffic, parking tickets or a shortage of friends.”
Bear Hands recently released their second single from the new album, “Marathon Man,” which follows the recent video premiere for “2AM.” In anticipation of the album’s release, the band will join Cage the Elephant, Silversun Pickups and Foals on The Spring Fling Rock AF 2016 Tour. Launching in Fresno, CA today, March 11th, the tour will stretch across the US and wraps up on April 1st in Providence, RI. Tickets are available at bearhandsband.com/events.
The full Record Store Day Crawl itinerary will be revealed the week of April 16th. Record Store Day Crawl sponsors and partners include: Bear Hands; DoNYC; Master & Dynamic; Baby’s All Right; KIND Snacks; Bleecker Street Records; Generation Records, Rough Trade, and Tmania.
